PT Jasa Marga Celebrates 47th Anniversary with Sustainable Innovations
In Jakarta on the 1st of March 2025, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. marked its 47th anniversary with a celebratory event themed “Sustainable Innovation for Indonesia.” This theme embodies the company’s dedication to continuous transformation, innovative solutions, and positive contributions to the development of environmentally-friendly and sustainable national infrastructure.
The anniversary festivities coincided with the onset of the holy month of Ramadan in 1446H, where Jasa Marga organized a Thanksgiving and Orphanage Charity event on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at the Ar-Rahman Mosque at the Jasa Marga Headquarters.
Key figures, including Ustaz Wijayanto, the Board of Commissioners, and the management team of Jasa Marga, graced the event. Among them were Chairman Mohammad Zainal Fatah, Business Director Reza Febriano, Operations Director Fitri Wiyanti, Business Development Director M. Agus Setiawan, Human Capital & Transformation Director Bagus Cahya A. B., and Finance & Risk Management Director Pramitha Wulanjani.
During his address, Chairman Mohammad Zainal Fatah emphasized that the company’s anniversary on March 1st, coinciding with the first day of Ramadan, served as a moment for the company to share happiness with the community. He highlighted the unique significance of this year’s celebration and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to provide exceptional service to the public.
Director of Business Reza Febriano added that the Thanksgiving and Orphanage Charity event symbolized Jasa Marga’s gratitude for its role in supporting the acceleration of infrastructure development, especially toll roads in Indonesia, and delivering optimal services to road users over 47 years. Looking ahead, Reza expressed hope that the company’s current age would inspire all Jasa Marga employees and directors to continue growing and developing sustainable innovations for Indonesia.
With a focus on sustainable innovation for Indonesia, Jasa Marga aimed to showcase ongoing innovation and exemplary performance in building the beloved Indonesian infrastructure. The event welcomed orphaned children from the surrounding areas of the headquarters and Bekasi.
At this gathering, Jasa Marga provided assistance to 200 orphaned children from the nearby areas of the Jasa Marga Headquarters, including Dukuh Village, Makasar Village, and Ragunan Village. This initiative not only fulfilled the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility, but also aimed to strengthen community relationships and support individuals, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
The event continued with a sermon from Ustaz Wijayanto, focusing on the importance of values like goodness and honesty in work, which can bring blessings into one’s life.
Prior to the anniversary celebration, Jasa Marga held a People’s Market for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) as a platform to celebrate achievements and collaborative spirit that positioned Jasa Marga as a pioneer in the toll road industry. This event supported UMKM entrepreneurs in developing their businesses while upholding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.
Moreover, as a positive contribution to the environment, Jasa Marga provided water stations and recycling bins throughout the event. The People’s Market for UMKM also served as an opportunity to appreciate the hard work and innovation of Jasa Marga’s “Roadsters.” Various awards were presented, ranging from the Roadster Rescue Competition 2025 to recognition for the Best Operational Staff from each subsidiary service provider, such as PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO), PT Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance (JMTM), and PT Jasamarga Related Business (JMRB).
Special recognition was also given to veteran employees and those who had served for 20, 25, 30, and 35 years, as a token of appreciation for their dedication and loyalty. Emphasizing the importance of millennial employees as drivers of innovation, Jasa Marga highlighted that 31% of its 7,921 employees were from Generation Z, and 45% were from Generation Y. These individuals were expected to lead the company’s transformation towards a new era of advanced and sustainable infrastructure services.
Through its 47th anniversary celebration, Jasa Marga reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing operational effectiveness and technology-based innovation. Digital transformation, operational system integration, and environmentally-friendly solutions were identified as strategic initiatives to solidify Jasa Marga’s position as the largest, fastest, and most sustainable national toll road company.
