Minister of Primary and Secondary Education in Jakarta, Abdul Mu’ti, thinks deep learning can help anti-corruption education in schools. He talked about it at a press conference in Jakarta on Thursday. The Ministry wants learning to be more than just transferring knowledge. They want to focus on understanding the material and building student character.
The Ministry plans to use the 2024 Education Integrity Assessment Survey results to improve anti-corruption education. They hope this, along with deep learning, will raise the Education SPI score from 69.50. The Education SPI looks at student integrity, the education ecosystem, and corruption risks in education governance.
The Minister hopes these changes will make a difference this year. He believes involving schools, families, communities, and the media will help students build character. Let’s see if this approach actually works or if it’s all just talk.
