So, like, there was this APEC Education Ministers’ Meeting in Jeju Island, South Korea, where Indonesia was all about pushing for ethical AI use in education. The whole deal was about how AI can help more peeps access education and create better learning opportunities for everyone. Abdul Mu’ti, the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education in Indonesia, was all like, “Yo, we gotta think about ethics when we use AI in education, ya know?”
Abdul Mu’ti was all about how Indonesia is totally into being ethical when it comes to AI development. He was like, “We need to be careful with AI, even though it’s super important for education and all.” He was all about having the right rules in place to make sure AI helps education grow, and not, like, mess things up. He was like, “We gotta be smart about bringing digital tech into the classroom, and not just focus on being all high-tech without thinking about the ethics of it.”
Oh, and Abdul Mu’ti also talked with the South Korean government about working together on education stuff. South Korea was all about teaming up with Indonesia on digital learning projects, especially in places that don’t have as much access to good education. The APEC Education Ministers’ Meeting in South Korea was a big deal this year, with peeps from 21 APEC countries coming together to talk about education inequality and how tech can help make education better for everyone.
