DPN PERADI SAI Advocates for Peace and Unity Among Lawyers
TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA- The National Leadership Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association Voice of Indonesian Advocates (DPN PERADI SAI) held a Christmas Celebration at the Kempinski Hotel Ballroom on Friday (10/1/2025).
A Heartfelt Christmas Celebration
This year’s Christmas celebration adopted the theme, ‘Let’s Go to Bethlehem Now. Love and Solidarity that Moves Brotherhood and Unity in the Extended Family of PERADI SAI.’
The celebration was solemn and festive. The event was attended by several legal institution officials, religious figures, and leaders from various faiths. Branch Leadership Council members (DPC) from all over Indonesia were present.
Father Yustinus Ardianto, in his Christmas reflection, called for living in goodness. He reminded advocates of the heavy burden and duty of the profession, as they must embody the 4 ‘advocatus’ traits: companion, helper, defender, and advisor.
Messages of Unity and Respect
Meanwhile, Minister of Law and Human Rights of Indonesia, Supratman Andi Agtas, in his written remarks, urged PERADI SAI to continue fostering togetherness and mutual respect among fellow law enforcers.
“May PERADI SAI continue to thrive in nurturing all its members to become professional and integrity-driven advocates,” he concluded.
Chair of the Christmas Celebration Committee of PERADI SAI, Ana Sofa Yuking, expressed solidarity and commitment by organizing social service activities in 3 locations.
These locations included the Pintu Elok Orphanage Foundation, the Dharma Kasih Social Body Foundation of the Pasundan Christian Church, and the Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 3 Social Home.
In this social service initiative, DPN PERADI SAI provided assistance in the form of goods and cash.
A Call for Peace and Unity
Juniver Girsang, the General Chairperson of DPN PERADI SAI, in his address, extended a message of peace to all Advocates wherever they may be. This Christmas celebration is hoped to be a platform for fostering relationships and igniting the spirit of solidarity among PERADI SAI advocates.
“We voice out peace and unity for all Advocates,” expressed Juniver.
“At the beginning of 2025, let us reaffirm our commitment to uphold the law in a professional, impartial, and integrity-driven manner,” Juniver emphasized.
Patra M Zen, the Secretary General of DPN PERADI SAI, highlighted that celebrating religious festivals is a form of gratitude as well as strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among fellow Advocates.
