Discover Official 3Kg Pertamina LPG Station, Guaranteed Quality and Price
Jakarta, January 14, 2025 – Pertamina Patra Niaga is once again inviting the public to familiarize themselves with the 3kg LPG station as the official distribution chain for selling subsidized 3kg LPG.
By purchasing from verified stations, individuals can ensure that they are getting safe and high-quality LPG at prices aligned with the highest retail price (HET).
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Heppy Wulansari, explained that the price of 3kg LPG regulated in the official distribution chain under ESDM 7436.K/12/MEM/2016 is set at the agent or distributor level, while the price at stations or sub-distributors based on HET is determined by local governments.
“Pangkalan or Sub-Distributor is an extension of Pertamina Patra Niaga where the prices at the stations are in line with the Highest Retail Price according to the ESDM regulation, where the HET in each provincial region follows the prices set by the Governor through a Decree,” clarified Heppy.
3kg LPG stations can be identified by green signboards displaying the station’s name, registration number, Highest Retail Price, name of the supplying agent, and contact numbers for complaints to Pertamina, Ditjen Migas, and local governments. These signboards must be placed in a visible and easily readable location for consumers.
Heppy further added that to maintain the quality of the 3kg LPG cylinders sold, stations are required to provide weighing scales.
“Empty 3kg LPG cylinders weigh approximately 5kg, so a full cylinder should weigh 8 kilograms. If a consumer finds a sealed cylinder weighing less than 8 kilograms, they have the right to request an exchange,” said Heppy.
Heppy explained that ideally, consumers should check the weight of the LPG cylinders they are purchasing before completing the transaction to ensure accuracy. Therefore, stations must be equipped with measuring devices verified annually by the local metrology office to guarantee the accuracy and precision of the scales used.
