Capturing the Devil: Firefighters Respond to Unique Request in Pekanbaru
In a surprising turn of events, the firefighters of Pekanbaru, Riau Province, were faced with an unusual plea for help from a group of women. These women, seeking assistance from the Fire Department (Damkar), made a request that caught everyone off guard – to capture a devil residing in their home.
Head of the Rescue Section at Damkar Pekanbaru, Hendro Putra Gautama, revealed that the department receives a multitude of reports daily, ranging from fire incidents to more unconventional requests. These reports are made either via phone calls or in-person visits to the Damkar office located on Cempaka Street, Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru.
The Unbelievable Request
Amidst the various reports that flood in daily, Hendro mentioned one particularly bizarre request that stood out – to capture a devil. Despite the extensive experience of the Damkar team, this request posed a unique challenge that left them puzzled.
“This is the first time in the history of our Rescue operations that we’ve received such an unusual request to capture a devil,” Hendro shared with a chuckle, highlighting the peculiarity of the situation.
A Call for Help
The incident transpired last year around 9:30 PM when a distressed woman residing in Palas Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru, made a frantic call to the Damkar team. The woman reported the presence of a troublesome devil in her new rented home and sought the assistance of the firefighters to apprehend it.
Describing the woman’s predicament, Hendro explained, “She had recently moved into her rented house and complained of a devil disturbing her peace.”
The Extraordinary Response
Surprisingly, the request was not dismissed outright. Hendro disclosed that a member of the Rescue Team possessed unique abilities to deal with supernatural entities, prompting the team to take action and address the woman’s distress.
As the Damkar team embarked on this unconventional mission, the outcome of their endeavor to capture the devil remains a mystery, leaving many intrigued by the extraordinary events that unfolded in Pekanbaru.
