The International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) 2025 recently concluded with remarkable achievements for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) under Pertamina’s mentorship. Over the course of five days from February 5 to 9, 2025, Pertamina-backed MSMEs recorded transactions exceeding Rp 4.2 billion, marking a significant 42% increase from the previous INACRAFT event held in October 2024.
This success was further accentuated by Pertamina receiving the prestigious Best Booth INACRAFT 2025 award in the Government/State-Owned Enterprises/Ministries category. With a booth featuring innovative concepts, eco-friendly designs, sustainable values, and carefully curated products in line with the theme, Pertamina’s MSME booth captivated thousands of local and international visitors and buyers.
Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina (Persero), expressed that the triumph of Pertamina-backed MSMEs at INACRAFT 2025 underscores the high competitiveness of local products and their ability to thrive in international markets. “Achieving transactions exceeding Rp 4.2 billion and gaining recognition for the Pertamina booth inspires us to further support the development of MSMEs toward greater self-sufficiency and sustainability,” he stated.
Empowering MSMEs for Sustainable Growth
At INACRAFT 2025, Pertamina engaged 18 MSMEs from the creative industry sector, 12 Co-Branding MSMEs (partnered with independent MSMEs), and 4 culinary MSMEs. The participation of these MSMEs is expected to have a positive impact on MSME development, including market expansion, enhanced competitiveness, and export opportunities.
In addition to direct transactions, MSMEs received significant orders from domestic and international buyers. They also forged strategic partnerships with other businesses, opening doors for broader expansion opportunities. The involvement in INACRAFT 2025 yielded significant benefits for MSME players. One participant, Al Aqshal, a Muslim fashion manufacturer from Tasikmalaya, expressed gratitude and joy for the impact on their business.
“Joining Pertamina’s MSME program has truly made a significant impact on our business. Through INACRAFT 2025, we not only increased sales but also gained new business partners, including export opportunities. Thanks to Pertamina for providing this exceptional guidance and opportunity,” shared Nining Suminar.
Another MSME, Seashell Indonesia, showcasing Situbondo’s distinctive seashell leather products, also reaped great benefits from the exhibition. “The outstanding enthusiasm of visitors, high demand for our products, and even interest from international buyers for long-term cooperation. This is a golden opportunity that we will not miss,” said Hary Soerijanto, the owner of Seashell.
