Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding Exceeds TKDN Target
In a bid to bolster the domestic industry, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, the upstream subholding of Pertamina, has consistently committed to implementing the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) to support the government’s efforts in enhancing national capacity and creating a multiplier effect for domestic industries.
Throughout 2024, Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding has achieved a TKDN realization rate of 61.06%, surpassing the TKDN target set by SKK Migas for the year 2024, which stood at 57%.
TKDN represents the amount of domestic components in goods, services, and combined goods and services. The TKDN target is established to ensure a preference for the use of domestic products and resources, which can create a multiplier effect to support the advancement of the national economy.
To boost TKDN achievement in the upstream oil and gas industry, Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding has engaged in productive collaborations with local and national businesses in every procurement process.
Arya Dwi Paramita, the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding, mentioned, “Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding also conducts regular programs such as TKDN Coaching Clinics to enhance the capabilities of our working partners in understanding TKDN.”
These programs are part of Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding’s commitment to continuously contribute to enhancing national capacity, which is integral to the efforts to transform the upstream oil and gas industry, particularly in improving the competitiveness of national suppliers.
Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) will continue to invest in managing upstream oil and gas operations and businesses in line with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. PHE also upholds a Zero Tolerance on Bribery policy by ensuring fraud prevention measures are in place and guaranteeing the company is free from corruption.
One of the initiatives includes the implementation of the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP), which is standardized under ISO 37001:2016. PHE is continuously enhancing operational management both domestically and internationally in a prudent and excellent manner to achieve the status of a world-class oil and gas company that is environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and governed with integrity.
