In a chilling discovery that has sent shockwaves through the community, the grisly case of mutilated body parts found in a red suitcase in Ngawi, East Java, has been unraveled. The investigation took a dark turn as investigators unearthed additional body parts in Ponorogo and Trenggalek on Sunday, January 26, 2025. The prime suspect in this heinous murder-mutilation case is Rohmad Tri Hartanto, known as Antok, a 33-year-old individual with a disturbingly unique skill set in packaging goods that enabled him to meticulously wrap the red suitcase.
Antok’s proficiency in packaging was honed during his eight-year stint at a goods packaging factory in South Korea. PS Kanit III Subdit III Jatanras of Polda East Java, AKP Fauzi, shed light on the chilling details, revealing that the victim’s body parts, belonging to Uswatun Khasanah, were meticulously wrapped in plastic before being disposed of. The suspect’s expertise in wrapping the victim’s body parts with such precision and care mirrors the meticulous packaging techniques employed in factories. Fauzi emphasized that this methodical approach indicated a composed individual, not someone acting in a state of panic.
The red suitcase containing the victim’s body parts was traced back to Antok, who had taken it from his residence in Tulungagung. Shockingly, this very suitcase had accompanied Antok during his sojourn to South Korea. “This is the suspect’s personal suitcase. It was brought back by Antok after four years of work in Korea, and he used it again after another four years of work,” Fauzi disclosed. Prior to disposal, the neatly wrapped body parts were stored at the suspect’s grandmother’s house in Tulungagung for 36 hours, adding a sinister layer to the unfolding horror.
