Putri bid farewell to her mother on that fateful night, telling her she was going to meet a friend after receiving a phone call. Little did she know that the call was from her boyfriend, Jibril, setting into motion a chain of events that would end in tragedy. The young couple arranged to meet at a boarding house in Desa Panakukkang, where they engaged in a brief conversation before Jibril suggested they ride their respective motorcycles to another location.

Upon reaching the scene, Jibril unleashed a savage attack on Putri, stabbing her mercilessly with a sharp weapon known as a badik. The heinous act saw Putri being stabbed a horrifying 79 times before her lifeless body, along with her motorcycle, was callously left in the rice fields of Desa Bontocinde. It was not until the following morning, around 5:45 AM, that a jogger stumbled upon Putri’s remains, leading to a gruesome discovery that shook the entire village.
