**Jakarta, February 15, 2024** – The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Menparekraf/Kabaparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno appreciates the collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf) through the Wonderful Indonesia brand and PT Pacific Food Indonesia (Mister Potato) in bringing Indonesian art and culture nuances to Mister Potato packaging.
**Sandiaga Uno**, at the launch event of the latest Mister Potato packaging in the Bulungan area of Jakarta on Friday (2/16/2024), stated that creativity, as demonstrated by Mister Potato showcasing packaging with Indonesian art and culture nuances, needs continuous support. This aligns with the Wonderful Indonesia campaign initiated by Kemenparekraf and directly supports Indonesia’s creative industry and economy.
“We hope that with this new packaging, we can promote Indonesian tourism through creative marketing. This collaboration is exceptional because it not only showcases tourist destinations but also includes culinary delights such as rendang, roasted beef, and has co-branded with Wonderful Indonesia. We hope that this partnership can increase Mister Potato sales, thus creating business opportunities and job openings,” said Minister Sandiaga.
**Wonderful Indonesia** as a brand equity has become the identity of Indonesia’s tourism and creative economy industry recognized worldwide. In the country brand strategy rating, Wonderful Indonesia ranks 25th. This certainly enhances the competitiveness of Indonesia’s tourism and creative economy.
Moreover, the **World Economic Forum (WEF)** in its latest report stated that Indonesia has risen 12 spots in the Travel & Tourism Development Index (TTDI).
“So our rating is already above other countries. Therefore, we must use it together to make a better contribution to Indonesia,” said Minister Sandiaga.
