**Optimizing Fuel and LPG Distribution in East Kalimantan for Supply Resilience**
Balikpapan – PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan is taking crucial steps to ensure the energy needs for fuels and LPG in East Kalimantan are met, guaranteeing sufficient supply and stock of fuels and LPG until the end of 2024.
On Wednesday (11/13), Arya Yusa Dwicandra, the Area Manager of Communication, Relations, and CSR at Pertamina Patra Niaga Kalimantan, stated that the current stock levels for both fuels and LPG are secure. The monthly distribution of Pertalite fuel in East Kalimantan averages 42,000 kiloliters (KL), and Pertamax stands at 26,000 KL monthly. Additionally, the monthly LPG distribution in East Kalimantan is around 10,000 metric tons, equivalent to approximately 3 million cylinders.
Arya mentioned that the supply resilience and quota for subsidized fuels and LPG in East Kalimantan will remain sufficient until the end of the year. He further emphasized that the operational optimization and supply resilience in Balikpapan are ongoing. Currently, Pertamax fuel dominates the monthly distribution in Balikpapan with an average of 8,500 KL, while Pertalite follows with 4,000 KL. In terms of LPG, the monthly distribution in Balikpapan is approximately 1,700 metric tons or around 500,000 cylinders.
Pertamina Patra Niaga in Regional Kalimantan is committed to ensuring the optimal distribution of fuels and LPG to the public. They continue to promote the targeted subsidy program for Pertalite fuel and 3 kg LPG to ensure its effectiveness in the future.
Arya explained that the targeted subsidies are being actively communicated to the public, with the aim of benefiting those who are truly in need. For Pertalite fuel, consumers of four-wheeled vehicles can simply show a QR code from their registration to make purchases at gas stations. Meanwhile, for 3 kg LPG, consumers are required to present their ID cards for purchases at official Pertamina stations.
In case of any difficulties faced by consumers in availing the targeted subsidy program, Pertamina Patra Niaga offers assistance through the Pertamina 135 contact service or by seeking further information on the MyPertamina app.
The commitment of Pertamina Patra Niaga, as a sub-holding of PT Pertamina (Persero) in Commercial & Trading, remains unwavering in providing energy to the public. For more information, individuals can visit https://pertaminapatraniaga.com or directly contact Pertamina Call Center (PCC) at 135.
