Jakarta – The Ministry of National Development Planning has announced that Indonesia will proudly exhibit its diverse cultures and achievements in sustainable development goals (SDGs) at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
**The Big Reveal: Indonesia Pavilion’s Design and Vision**
The Indonesia Pavilion, spanning an impressive 1,750 square meters, will embody the theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” on the global stage. Minister Rachmat Pambudy shared that the pavilion’s design, resembling a vessel, symbolizes Indonesia’s unwavering commitment to progress. At 75 percent completion, the pavilion is set to be unveiled in March 2025, just in time for the World Expo.
**Strategic Participation for a Sustainable Future**
The World Expo 2025, scheduled from April 13 to October 13, is anticipated to serve as a pivotal platform for Indonesia to attract green investments and enhance its reputation as a sustainable nation. Minister Pambudy emphasized that Indonesia’s involvement underscores its dedication to fostering an inclusive and sustainable economy, showcasing a strong commitment to achieving the SDGs and promoting investment opportunities for the benefit of all.

A total of 17 Indonesian ministries and agencies, along with 8 regional governments, and 23 private companies and non-governmental organizations, will join forces to maximize the positive impact of Indonesia’s participation in the World Expo 2025.
