**PHR Achieves Milestone in Developing Non-Conventional Oil & Gas in Rokan Block**

Pekanbaru – Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) Regional Sumatera Subholding Upstream Pertamina continues to make significant progress in developing Non-Conventional Oil and Gas (MNK) projects in the Rokan Working Area (WK).

One of the MNK exploration wells that has garnered attention is the Gulamo DET-1 well. The main fracturing process in the Brownshale formation layer has been successfully completed. The initial results from the hydrocarbon flowback test show positive indications of oil and gas flow.

**Evaluating Success and Potential Impact**

Andre Wijanarko, EVP Upstream Business PHR, expressed that the post-fracturing achievements in the Gulamo well are a crucial step in demonstrating the MNK potential in the Rokan WK. He added that with these positive results, the MNK development in Rokan will continue to progress as planned. The economic evaluation of the project is ongoing, with optimism that as more data is gathered, the economic assessment will become more accurate.

Hudi D Suryodipuro, Head of the Program and Communication Division of SKK Migas, welcomed the MNK progress at Gulamo. He highlighted the significant potential of the MNK fracturing results in the Rokan Block to contribute to the discovery of new oil and gas reserves to support national resilience and align with the long-term plan (LTP). The success of the fracturing technology used in the Gulamo MNK project will pave the way for implementation in other MNK fields.

**Future Plans and Impact on National Production**

Looking ahead, PHR plans to conduct extended flowback tests and analyze data more comprehensively. Additionally, they intend to drill appraisal wells to obtain more detailed information on the MNK hydrocarbon potential in the Rokan WK.

PHR’s efforts are expected to enhance national oil and gas production and extend the productive life of the Rokan WK. SKK Migas and PHR are continuously working to maintain and increase production in the Rokan WK, considering it is the largest contributor to oil production in Indonesia.
