In the hustle and bustle of the Christmas and New Year holiday season, a group of dedicated individuals at PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa, IDX: ELSA) continue to work tirelessly to uphold national energy security. Triumphs of Dedication
Among these dedicated individuals are Trijoko, an HSSE Officer, and Rawinder Singh, the Field Service Manager for Wireline Services (WLS) in Kalimantan. Trijoko, with over a decade of service at Elnusa, shared his unique experiences working on the Seismic Survey Project 2D and 3D Vibroseis. For him, the long Christmas and New Year holidays bring both technical and psychological challenges.
His main motivation stems from a deep sense of responsibility and pride in his work. “This job is a contribution to national energy security. As a unique job that marks the starting point of the energy source process, it brings me immense pride,” he expressed. The support from his family and colleagues serves as the backbone of his motivation. Despite being at remote project locations, having good cellular signal allows him to stay connected with his loved ones.
Meanwhile, Rawinder Singh, who has been with Elnusa for over 11 years, fulfills his duties as the Field Service Manager for WLS in Kalimantan. He oversees smooth operations by managing personnel schedules, preparing necessary equipment, and acting as the liaison between Elnusa and service users.
Commitment to Service
When asked about his dedication during the Christmas and New Year period, Rawinder emphasized, “My main motivation comes from the field team that continues to fulfill their duties, whether on land or at sea. I believe that without Elnusa officers at the forefront, we cannot contribute to national energy security.” He also stressed the importance of maintaining a balance between work and family life. Family support, especially through long-distance communication, plays a crucial role in his work-life balance.
“On certain occasions, like the New Year’s Eve that coincided with my parents’ wedding anniversary, I made time for a video call,” he shared. He fondly recalled celebrating the New Year in the middle of the sea in 2014-2015 at Field Jatibarang – X-Ray. “We could only hear the distant sound of fireworks. Despite feeling a bit sad, the team on site always encouraged each other,” he reminisced.
