RU II Dumai was recognized for its top-notch decarbonization efforts in 2024, reducing carbon emissions by a whopping 217,047 tons of CO2 through various initiatives like optimizing boiler loads. They’re even exploring a flare to power project in collaboration with PT Pertamina Power Indonesia (PPI) Subholding Power and New Renewable Energy (PNRE). On the other hand, PHR is making waves by utilizing a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) to cut emissions by 24 kilotons of CO2 per year. Go green, guys!
