Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk Showcases International Presence at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025
Abu Dhabi, 16 January 2025 – PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) reaffirmed its position as a world-class green energy company through its participation in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2025 held from 14-16 January 2025.

During a panel discussion titled “Masdar Around the World” at the Masdar Pavilion on 14th January, PGE’s Finance Director, Yurizki Rio, emphasized the company’s role in transforming the energy landscape in Southeast Asia. Indonesia’s geothermal potential of 24 GW, the second-largest globally and number one in ASEAN, mainly consists of high-temperature hydrothermal systems above 200°C, ideal for power generation. Yurizki Rio also outlined PGE’s strategic opportunities, including increasing energy capacity to meet domestic and industrial needs, creating new green revenue streams like carbon credits, and providing off-grid geothermal products for electrifying remote areas. He highlighted the significance of collaboration between geothermal developers and global investors to maximize Indonesia’s abundant geothermal resources for a more sustainable energy landscape.
