This whole thing went down in Ring 1 of the company’s area, in this place called Kelurahan Cilandak Timur, Jakarta Selatan. They’re all about supporting basic healthcare services in the community. On Monday, May 19th, Elnusa hooked up 14 Posyandu in the Cilandak Timur area with some health equipment. They got stuff like digital scales, digital blood pressure monitors, digital thermometers, and other gear to strengthen healthcare services for pregnant women, babies, toddlers, and the elderly.
The goal here is to tackle common health issues in the community, like hypertension, obesity, and unstable blood pressure. Frida Lidwina, the Corporate Secretary at Elnusa, was all like, “This program is all part of our commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. We believe that health is like, super important for a productive and independent community. By giving these supplies to the 14 Posyandu, Elnusa wants to support better healthcare services for moms, kids, and old folks, which are like, crucial for national development, you know?”
And like, this SEHATI ELNUSA program isn’t just about handing out physical aids. They’re also all about educating people. In the long run, they hope this program can, like, encourage healthier lifestyles through promoting healthy living, improving nutrition, and strengthening mental and social well-being. This whole deal is also Elnusa’s way of supporting Posyandu as, like, a key player in providing preventive and promotive healthcare services to the community. Atin, the Posyandu Leader, was totally stoked about it, saying, “This help is totally hitting the mark. Posyandu is, like, the front line of community healthcare services.
