Alright, so like, apparently, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. decided to support this whole One Way National traffic engineering thing, starting today, Friday (28/03), at 09.45 AM WIB from KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to KM 414 of the Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road.

This decision was made after making sure that the opposite lane (westbound) was clear of road users traveling from Semarang to Cikampek. The whole thing kicked off with a flag off by Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police Ahmad Dofiri, Director of Law Enforcement (Dirgakum) of the Indonesian National Police Raden Slamet, CEO of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. Subakti Syukur, and other officials on Friday (28/03).

The implementation of this traffic engineering thingy is based on a Joint Decree by the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police, and the Directorate General of Highways on March 6, 2025, regarding Traffic Regulations and Crossings During the Homecoming and Return Travel Period for Eid al-Fitr in 2025/1446H. So yeah, they decided to make it a one-way street because traffic volume from Jakarta to Semarang was like, super high, and they saw it on CCTV and heard it from the cops on the ground. Before this, they had this contraflow thing going on from KM 47 to KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

For those using the One Way lane, the police are like, “Make sure your ride and you are in top shape, no stopping on the shoulder unless it’s an emergency, no switching lanes or cutting across suddenly, always obey speed limits, follow traffic signs, and listen to the cops on the field.” The One Way lane is only for those heading to Semarang. And hey, you can still use the rest area on the right lane (opposite direction).

Jasa Marga also suggests checking the dynamic traffic engineering timing and routes from the police. So yeah, stay updated on traffic info, especially the timing and routes for traffic engineering from the police, through the One Call Center Jasa Marga at 14080, Travoy App, X Account @PTJASAMARGA, official Jasa Marga social media, and prepare well for the Idulfitri holiday travel period in 1446H/2025. Before hitting the toll road, make sure your vehicle and yourself are good to go, use your time wisely by resting at the rest area, ensuring enough fuel, and e-money balance, following signs, and cops’ directions.

So, like, make sure you’re prepared for the traffic switcheroo and follow the rules, folks! And yeah, enjoy your road trip, I guess.
