PT Perta Arun Gas Board of Commissioners and Directors Lead HSSE Cultural Commitment Management Walkthrough with Government Officials
In a show of commitment to the HSSE culture within the company, PT Perta Arun Gas conducted a Management Walkthrough (MWT) led by the Board of Commissioners and Directors. This activity took place at the Arun Refinery in Lhokseumawe, along with a working visit from the Bappenas Team, the Ministry of ATR/BPN, and the Land Bank team on January 23, 2024.
Main Highlights:
The Chairman of PAG, Syahrial Mukhtar, emphasized that the MWT was conducted to ensure business development and the reliability of the refinery are well maintained. He mentioned that the company could further develop significant potential, especially with state assets that are idle or not utilized, leading to lost opportunities for benefits.
Leadership Vision:
Yan Syukharial, the President Director of PAG, shared during the Business Profile presentation that PAG aims to become the LNG Hub leader in Asia by 2030. The company has proven its ability to manage the former Arun LNG assets effectively.
Government Focus:
Virgo Eresta Jaya, the Director-General of Survey & Land Mapping at the Ministry of ATR BPN, highlighted the government’s focus on optimizing state asset management as a revenue source. The goal is to have all state-owned goods certified by 2024 for easier tracking of their management.
Future Initiatives:
The visit aimed to assess the assets at the Arun Refinery. Virgo mentioned that these assets could be leveraged for future use. By the end of 2024, the Ministry of ATR/BPN targets to have 100 verified cities with their assets, including creating databases, managing, licensing, and legalizing them in Lhokseumawe.
